Our 3rd graders carried out an experiment to better understand how a plant stem works. They observed how the stem functions as a “transport channel,” absorbing water and nutrients and distributing them to the leaves and other parts of the plant, ensuring its growth and vitality.
Through this hands-on activity, students learned in a fun and practical way an essential scientific concept: the importance of the stem in the plant’s nutrition process. A great experience that combined curiosity, observation, and science!
